UPDATE: Names released of 22 arrested in cockfighting ring bust

Kiowa County (RNN Texoma) - Twenty-two people have been arrested in a cockfighting ring bust near Cooperton. 

An anonymous tip was called in to authorities. Kiowa county sheriffs, Snyder police, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol were involved in the investigation. They found the suspects Sunday afternoon outside of Cooperton on a stretch of private property.

All of the people booked into Kiowa County Jail are now released on bond. They have a court date set for August 6th.

Police are still looking for more people involved.

The people who have been arrested so far are:

* Johnathan J. Ibarra, Altus, Ok.

* Abel V. Isordia, Enid, Ok.

* Louis Juarez, Ft. Worth, Tx.

* Jeffery R. Knight, Blair, Ok.

* John D. Munro, Manitou, Ok.

* Michael Pearson, Rush Springs, Ok.

* Israel Ponce, Dallas, Tx.

* Reynaldo Ponce, Headrick, Ok.

* Joseph N. Ponder, Altus, Ok.

* Jose Del Pilar Rivas Herrera, Enid, Ok.

* Mark A. Russell, Tipton, Ok.

* Simon Saucedo, Lancaster, Tx.
