SAN CLEMENTE, CA — If you still haven't renewed for your 2022 parking permit in San Clemente, don't start sweating it until the new year. The City of San Clemente is offering a parking permit grace period for all residents who have yet to renew their annual permit, the city announced Monday.

Traditionally, all San Clemente parking passes issued to residents and non-residents expire at the end of the calendar year. This year, that date falls on Friday Dec. 31. To help support residents who have not had the chance to renew their annual parking pass, the city is holding a grace period from Dec. 24 through Jan. 14.

The grace period is intended to aid residents who are renewing their parking passes, and will not apply to those who have not yet registered for a parking pass.
