It’s a double the celebrations for Tatyana Ali.
The former “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” star confirmed to People that she’s not only engaged to Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, but that the couple is expecting their first child together, too.
“Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely,” Ali, 37, told Entertainment Tonight.
After meeting on eHarmony nearly a year and a half ago, the couple exchanged letters for months ahead of a Skype session, before they decided to meet in person. It was during a lengthy hike in the Redwoods of Yosemite, Calif., that Rasberry popped the question to Ali.
“It was so thoughtful and perfect. We’re best friends,” she said.
With a summer wedding on the agenda, Ali shared that she isn’t fussing over plans for the ceremony.
“We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing! Plus, I have the best wedding planner, Michael Russo,” Ali explained. “He’s making everything so fun and stress free!”
Reps for Ali didn’t immediately return our request for comment.
