Two arrested in connection with Schulter man's death

SCHULTER — Two people were arrested in connection with a Schulter man found dead in his home Monday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.

Christina Smith Stribel, 26, was arrested in Tuttle on Tuesday night and Dustin Martin was arrested in Yukon about 9 a.m. Wednesday, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Stribel is the stepdaughter of 54-year-old Timothy Parenti, who was found dead by a family member in his Schulter home Monday afternoon, Brown said. Parenti's burned car was found near Burns Flat a few hours before his body was discovered.

Stribel and Martin were booked into the Grady County jail on material witness warrants and will be transferred the Okmulgee County jail, the county where Parenti's body was found.
