To the voters of the Lower Platte North Natural Resources District: Thank you for your unwavering support. It has been a pleasure to serve as your director for 46 years on the Lower Platte North NRD, Sub-District 7, which includes all of the following towns: Morse Bluff, Linwood, Abie, Bruno, Prague, Malmo, Weston, Cedar Bluffs and Leshara.
During these years I have worked with a lot of directors protecting property, lives and our natural resources of the state. Over the years I have served as your voice on the State Natural Resources commission, Nebraska Association of Natural Resources and all the committees within the Lower Plate North NRD.
It was work but it was fun. Now is the time for me to retire. In doing so, it leaves a seat open in Sub-District 7. Nancy Meyer of Cedar Bluffs has filed as a candidate for Sub-District 7. Nancy has experience with conservation issues and is knowledgeable about budgeting and cares about protecting the land and resources of Nebraska. She will protect our water, soil, Natural Resources and budget.
