He was a member of BETA, the National Honor Society and CASP at Colonial High School. JOSEFINA VIGILIA ALAGANO, 66, Grand Canyon Drive, Orlando, died Thursday, May 16. Mrs. Alagano was a retired public school teacher in the Philippines. Born in the Philippines, she moved to Central Florida in 1995. A member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, she also belonged to the Philippines Senior Citizens. BENJAMIN VINSON BENNETT BARROW, 18, South Goldenrod Road, Orlando, died Wednesday, May 15. Mr. Barrow was a cook at Straub’s Restaurant. Born in Orlando, he was a lifelong resident. MILDRED CHRISTINE BAXTER, 74, Charleswood Avenue, Orlando, died Friday, May 17, of heart disease. Mrs. Baxter was a homemaker. Born in Georgia, she moved to Central Florida in 1956. WILLIAM B. BECKWITH, 84, Andover Court, Mount Dora, died Thursday, May 16. Mr. Beckwith was a systems analyst manager for Unisys Corp. of Huntsville, Ala. JOHN T. BURNS, 65, 1775 Hollywood Ave., Winter Park, died Thursday, May 16. Mr. Burns was a salesman for Bell Fibre Products. Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., he moved to Central Florida in 1993. LOUISE REDDICK CONNELL, 85, Dowling Park, died Thursday, May 16. Mrs. Connell was a grocery store merchant. Born in Moultrie, Ga., she moved to Dowling Park from Orlando in 1990. A member of First Baptist Church of Orlando, she also belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution and Women’s Missionary Society. DORIS M. DOWLER, 80, Mulbry Drive, Orlando, died Thursday, May 16. Mrs. Dowler was a retired statistician, accountant and treasurer and controller for a savings and loan.
