Sure, you might think you know Joe Jonas from his days as a member of the Jonas Brothers with younger brother Nick and older brother Kevin. But at age 27, Joe is all grown up and making waves as the current lead singer of the pop-rock band DNCE. We asked Joe to spill the details on which brother he turns to when he has a broken heart, and how he really feels about PDA.

1. Tell us something most people don't know about you.
I can pretty much balance anything—on my nose, on my foot, on my hand, on my finger. A chair, a bike, you name it, I'll do it.

2. What's the best thing you've learned from a past relationship?
That you can hold on to things, but at the end of the day, you have to live your life and not hold grudges. Life is too short for that stuff.

3. Are you a fan of PDA?
No, not at all. Look, when you really like somebody, that kind of goes out the window. But even around friends and stuff, I think you keep that for the bedroom or behind closed doors. Especially at the beginning of the relationship, you've got to be cautious of that.

4. How do you handle heartbreak?
It's different every time. There have been moments where I've had to write a song, and that can be helpful. Or there are moments where you just surround yourself with friends and family. Usually I go to my brother Nick. We just hang out, do some bro hanging, and that helps a lot.

5. Is there anything you're insecure about?
Not so much anymore. But every once in a while. Like the other day, I ran and smacked my face by accident, and it really affected me, because I was onstage and I was like, "Man, everybody can see this." But you have to just be like, "Whatever." I'm at a point in my life where I can laugh it off. And it's a good representation of the band: that we don't really care.
