Rhea County charges father and son with robbing convenience store

EVENSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Rhea County detectives have charged a father and son with robbing the Deli Mart/ Gulf Station in Evensville early Friday morning.

A clerk was in the back room when a man came in around 2 AM and got into the cash drawer.

When the clerk confronted him, he ran out and jumped in a waiting car.

They got away with about $200 in cash.

Sheriff’s investigators got a good look at the getaway car from the security camera.

They tracked the vehicle to John F. Costa and Andrew Gene Costa.

The father and son are charged with Aggravated Robbery.
