Seen@ the Wootenanny comedy show at Birchtree Bread Company

Beloved music videos like Will Smith's "Wild Wild West" and Justin Bieber's "How Do You Feel" were ripped on and riffed on at Birchtree Bread Company Tuesday night as part of a continuing series of comedy events going on in Worcester this week.

The Wootenanny is being hosted by Shaun Connolly and Ryan Shea, and features several Worcester-area comedians performing various themed shows across the city.

The "I Hate What You Love" show was described as a "Beavis and Butthead" meets "Mystery Science Theater 3000." A music video picked by a comedian was displayed on a screen and three or four comedians provided hilarious commentary as it played out.

"You could pause your screen at any time in this music video and catch someone making an awesome face," one comedian said of Slipknot's "Duality" music video.

The Wootenanny kicked off Monday with at open mic at Nick's Worcester, however many more Wootenanny events are scheduled for the rest of the week.

On Oct. 18, a comedy showcase will be held at Ever Day Miracles, on 25 Pleasant St. A stand-up show where comedians received randomized joke topics on a roulette wheel is scheduled to be held on Oct. 19 at Coney Island Hot Dogs.

Comedian Nick Chambers is performing at the Worcester Marine Corps League on Oct. 20. The Wootenanny closes with a "Sort of Late Show" performance at Ralph's Diner on Oct. 21.
