OCSO releases description of identifiers of body found in freezer

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office has released potential identifiers in connection with the body that was found in a freezer last week.

“We have a distinct tattoo and also a clothing description that we’re hoping can be used to make an identification,” Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “If anyone recognizes any part of the description, please get in touch with us.”

The body was discovered at a Norway residence by a group of teens on January 3.

The teens told investigators they wanted to check out what they had heard was a “haunted” house located on Woodview Circle.

The house was later burned to the ground.

An autopsy revealed that the individual is male. He has a tattoo of a possible rising sun above a man’s face on his right shoulder.

Following the autopsy, officials determined the male was wearing a size 34 PacSun blue denim stacked skinny jeans, a short-sleeve T-shirt, and a brown Gucci belt.
