Small Business Workshops by Taxation University at the Library

Small Business Workshops by Taxation University will be on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane in Monmouth Jct. Taxation University and the New Jersey State Library are offering free New Jersey taxation workshops for the Business Community. At SBPL, there will be two workshops: (100 minutes each) At 10 a.m. Business Registration & Reporting Business Income: Different business structures, registering a business in New Jersey, legal entity vs. individual structured business registration, how to report your New Jersey business income. At 1 p.m. Online Businesses and New Jersey Tax Issues: taxable products and services, sales inside and outside of New Jersey, shipping products, collecting New Jersey Sales Tax, filing sales and use tax returns, and New Jersey Exemption Certificates.

A boxed lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. Registration is required; register online on the Library’s Events Calendar as soon as possible. These workshops will also be held in other libraries in Middlesex County - please check the TU webpage for more information on that.
