Mitzi Gaynor's award winning career as a dancer, singer and actress has spanned eight decades. She may be best known for her role as "Nellie Forbush" in the 1958 film version of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. The million-selling soundtrack, featuring "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" and "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy" has never gone out of print and still ranks as the fourth album of all time to spend the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (31 weeks) - tied with Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" and just under Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
