Ranveer and his current girlfriend, Deepika Padukone, sent the newlyweds a bouquet of flowers along with a heartfelt handwritten note congratulating the couple.
Tongues were set wagging when Deepika, like many of her B-Town colleagues, did not wish Virat and Anushka on social media.
However, it turns out that while people were speculating about their rivalry, Deepika sent a personal message to the couple, which she felt was more intimate than a wish on Twitter.
On Monday, Anushkatied the knotwith her cricketer beau Virat Kohli in afairytale wedding. The couple is currently enjoying their honeymoon.
