Ballymagarvey Village in Balrath, County Meath, is well known as one of Ireland's foremost wedding venues.

However, this September, a wider audience can experience "the magic of Ballymagarvey" with the announcement of the first of a series of events taking in musical acts such as Jake Carter and Garth Brooks Tribute act Trevor Smith & Friends in Low Places.

With a history that can be traced back over 800 years, Ballymagarvey Village is a labour of love for owner Vincent Callan. The successful wedding venue began renovation back in 2003 and today is regarded by all who visit as a magical venue.

"We have put a lot of work and effort into making Ballymagarvey what it is today, and we are delighted with the feedback we get from guests about how special the place

is," says Vincent Callan. "However we have always thought it would be nice to give those other than our wedding guests, the opportunity to attend an event here at Ballymagarvey."

With this in mind, Vincent and his team are to open the doors of Ballymagarvey to a broader audience, thanks to a series of new and exclusive events that begin on

Monday, September 24th with the hugely popular Jake Carter, winner of Dancing with the Stars Ireland.

Then, Wednesday, October 17th will see guests enjoy what is the ultimate Garth Brooks Experience when Trevor Smith and his 'Friends in Low Places' band take to the Ballymagarvey stage. Tickets for all shows are just €30 and include some light refreshments and Barbeque food on arrival.

There is also the option for concert-goers to avail of some of Ballymagarvey's superb accommodation, which is available at just €50pp B&B. There are 40 bedrooms in

Ballymagarvey, but these will sell out fast, so early booking is advised.
