Fire badly damages North Portland home

PORTLAND, Ore. – A house was badly damaged in a fire in North Portland Saturday, Portland Fire and Rescue said.

Portland Fire and Rescue tweeted about the incident in the 7300 block of N Boston Avenue at around 3:45 p.m.

When fire crews arrived on scene, they found large flames coming from the front of the house.

Crews extinguished the fire and determined everyone made it out safely. Two people were home when the fire started.

Medical personnel evaluated one person but they did not need to go to the hospital.

A fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause.
