An Indianapolis attorney faces public nudity and indecency charges after authorities say he exposed himself to two girls basketball teams as they rode school buses on I-70.

Marion County prosecutors charged Raymond F. Fairchild, 71, with six misdemeanors after they say he flashed two high school buses carrying girls teams in June and February, according to a probable cause affidavit filed last week in Marion Superior Court.

Fairchild was driving a light blue Honda CR-V on June 15 when he pulled alongside a Northern Wells Community Schools bus on I-70 near the Indianapolis International Airport and exposed himself to the girls, prosecutors said.

Some of the student-athletes took photos, some of which their coach posted on Facebook asking for help to identify the man.

Members of the Union City High School girls basketball team saw the post and realized he was the same man who exposed himself to their school bus as they rode on I-70 near Post Road on Feb. 22, prosecutors said.

Two people who saw the Facebook post told Indiana State Police investigators they recognized the flasher as Fairchild, prosecutors said.

Fairchild drives a blue CR-V and maintains a law office Downtown, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Last month, the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission suspended Fairchild's law license for six months in an unrelated matter, records show.

Fairchild was issued a summons in the indecency case on Sept. 15, court records show. He is scheduled to appear in court for an initial hearing Oct. 26.
