The trooper tried to stop the vehicle but it reportedly kept driving, according to state police.

“The operator did not stop and a pursuit ensued south on I-89,” according to Sgt. Maurice Sampson of the NHSP. “A trooper on I-89 in Warner utilized a controlled deflation device to puncture one of the Kia sedan’s tires. The suspect pulled over a couple of miles later where he was taken into custody without incident.”

Cole was then transported to Concord Hospital “as a safety precaution due to a suspected impairment issue involving drugs,” according Sampson.

The investigation of the arrest is ongoing and bail was not set at post time. Troopers were assisted by Sutton and New London police, according to the alert.
