Four arrested after alleged attempted robbery at Independence Walmart

Four women were arrested after an alleged attempted robbery at the Walmart on Enterprise Drive in Independence, according to police.
On Jan. 21, officers said the women reportedly went into the store with the intention of stealing merchandise.
As the women were leaving, one of them pepper-sprayed an employee while another tried to push a full shopping cart out of the store.
Jasmine Donald, 18, Kaila Johnson 19, and Naviea Steele, 18, were arrested and are currently in the Buchanan County Jail on $10,000 bonds for 2nd-degree robbery, police said.
A warrant has been issued for 27-year-old Jalissa Simmons, who was allegedly the driver of a getaway car, according to police.
Police said another juvenile female was arrested in the case.
