Josiah Duggar’s ex-girlfriend Marjorie sports swimsuit on girls trip after escaping strict family
JOSIAH Duggar's ex-girlfriend Marjorie Jackson is currently loving life on a girls trip.
The 22-year-old - who dated the 19 Kids And Counting star for several months in 2015 - posed in a swimsuit with several pals during a getaway to Texas.
She shared a snap with two of her friends in a hot tub as well as outside a cafe in the city of Horseshoe Bay.
Marjorie captioned the fun shots: "A tiny taste of summer this weekend."
Josiah began dating the author in April 2015 - right before Josiah's older brother Josh was accused of molesting five young girls as a teen, including his own sisters.
Sisters Jill and Jessa have came forward as victims in an interview with Megyn Kelly. They have also said they forgive him.
Josiah and Marjorie met while taking Spanish lessons from her mother, Analucia, and grew closer during a mission trip to El Salvador in December 2014.
He was 18 and she was 17 when they announced in April 2015 that they were "courting".
In a video posted on TLC's website, the then-teenagers revealed they'd started a "courtship relationship".
Marjorie and Josiah stood side by side amid a backdrop of framed Duggar family photos and a crucifix statue as they discussed their romance in the clip.
Marjorie said: "Courtship is like dating with a purpose.
"It's getting to know each other better in group settings along with our families and just really asking those tough questions and getting to spend more time together along with family and friends."
The artist, who is half Guatemalan, was a speaker at the Beautiful Girls Retreat in Arkansas in 2015 - an annual event for devout Christian women.
Josiah's mom Michelle Duggar also spoke at the event that year.
She's the eldest of five children, who were all homeschooled.
Meanwhile, Josiah - who is now 23 - recently welcomed his first child with wife Lauren.
Lauren, 20, gave birth to a little girl named Bella Milagro in November.
"We are so thankful to God for our sweet blessing!" they told Us Weekly.
"She has already brought so much joy in our lives. We are obsessed with her adorable smiles. It’s hard to imagine life without her!"
