Actress Elizabeth Hurley is fit and she knows it. The 53-year-old posted an amazing photo, modeling a bikini from her Elizabeth Hurley Beach brand, during a trip to the Maldives:

Well, there was that and the sexy little strip tease video she shared. (She's totally feelin' herself in the line's Kashmir Robe.)

The woman owns it and it's no wonder—c'mon, just look at those abs—but what the heck does Elizabeth do to look this good?

For starters, Elizabeth told Today she lives by a pretty simple (and important) motto: "You need to look after your health. If you want to glow from the inside, you have to be healthy. You have to watch your diet. You have to watch your lifestyle. You have to get enough sleep."

Noted.

As part of her healthy lifestyle, Elizabeth begins her day with movement. In fact, she told WomensHealthMag.com that she does squat reps while brushing her teeth in the a.m. for "as long as it takes to brush my teeth in the morning." And she does the same thing in the afternoon. Now that's dedication.

After some breakfast, she takes her dogs (a Labrador named Hector and a cocker spaniel named Mia) on a 30-minute walk that's "just fast enough to get my heart rate up."

Elizabeth prefers outdoor walks to the treadmill because fresh air "frees you of all tension."

The actress also loves to practice yoga and Pilates, but she mainly does so on vacay (so it's safe to say she's getting some mat time in during this Maldives trip).

But despite staying active "I’ve learned how to rest when I need to rest," Elizabeth told Today. "I understand that I need to do a bit of exercise. I understand about eating healthily. I’ve understood about not smoking. I’ve understood about limiting alcohol intake."

Which, really, sounds like a perfectly balanced approach. And TBH if it's what Elizabeth is doing to maintain her killer figure, then sign me up.
