Holbrook Chamber Hosting Holiday Events

Events include Christmas tree and Menorah lighting.

With the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce's Thanksgiving food driving finishing tomorrow, a whole new slate of holiday events will take place in the coming months.

On Dec. 1, the chamber will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting, which will start at 4:30 p.m. in front of The Irish Pub at 975 Main St. Santa will greet children and pass out candy canes.

Then, on Dec. 2, the chamber will hold its annual Menorah Lighting at 6 p.m. at the parking lot of Spies Travel and the Coste Agency on Main Street. Rabbi Steven Moss of B'nai Israel Reform Temple will officiate the service, which will include songs and prayers. Chanukah Gelt will be given out to the children and free hot chocolate will be served.
