Comedy Central said it would launch its first live weekly show on SiriusXM’s Comedy Central Radio channel. “The Bonfire With Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder” will premiere on Monday, July 27, and will air live every Monday and Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET with repeats throughout the week.
“The Bonfire” invites listeners to hang out and hear the duo talk about everything from comedy and entertainment to sports, sharing their funniest stories from the road and giving fans a chance to call in and get their opinions on the topics of the day.
Oakerson and Soder will each film an original lone-hour original standup special on the Viacom-owned cable network. Both will debut in 2016 at dates and times to be announced.
Oakerson has appeared on IFC, BET, HBO and various Comedy Central programs. Soder has made appearances on TBS’ “Conan” and Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer,” among other programs.
