A man broke his arm in a crash at Fullerton and Sumner avenues in Allentown on Wednesday morning that closed the intersection for about two hours as crews cleaned up debris, police said.

The crash happened around 11 a.m., in front of Sacred Heart Cemetery Fullerton Avenue, which is at the border of Whitehall Township and Allentown.

Witnesses said a man in a Buick was going south on Fullerton Avenue when a truck hauling concrete attempted to make a left turn from Sumner Avenue onto northbound Fullerton. The two vehicles collided, striking a third vehicle.

Initial reports indicated that there was multiple victims ejected, but Allentown police Capt. John Hill said only one person was injured.

Hill could not say if any citations will be issued. Traffic on Sumner Avenue is controlled with a stop sign.
