A mother and son were found safe after they were reportedly kidnapped by the child's father in Los Angeles, as reported by KCRA 3 affiliate NBC LA.The California Highway Patrol confirmed the car in the abduction had been found in West Covina at 10:42 p.m., but would not say if the child and mother were found.The LAPD said the mother and baby were found in their South Los Angeles home by 11 p.m.The search for the father continued as he had not been located. He is considered to be violent and dangerous.An Amber Alert has been issued by the California Highway Patrol Southern Division for 1-year-old Ayden Avalos, officials said.According to Los Angeles police, the abduction happened near 10400 South Hoover Street.Officers said they believe the pair was taken by Luis Avalos, who was reportedly driving a 2006 Silver Chevrolet Impala with California license plate number 7LPF713.Luis Avalos is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall, has brown eyes, is bald and weighs 140 pounds, police said. He has tattoos around his neck and left cheek.Anyone who may have seen Luis Avalos or who has information about him should call 911.
