Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today (April 10) will hold a special pre-fight press conference for its upcoming "Barao vs. Wineland" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to take place at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on June 15, 2013.

You can watch a LIVE video of the proceedings in the embedded player below.

UFC 161 will feature bantamweight champion Renan Barao putting his 135-pound interim title on the line against division number one contender Eddie Wineland. Both headliners will be in attendance today, as will UFC President Dana White and his Canadian sidekick Director of Operations, Tom Wright.

The live stream gets underway promptly at 2 p.m. ET.

Also scheduled for the promotion's first-ever fight card in "The Peg" is a heavyweight showdown between Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan, as well as a 135-pound female bout between Alexis Davis vs. Rosi Sexton, which will no doubt get the winner closer to a title shot after Miesha Tate or Cat Zingano collides with division champion Ronda Rousey later this year.

After 10 minutes of introduction, we're finally ready for the questions for fighters. UFC female bantamweight Alexis Davis is also present at the presser.

Renan Barao: I'm training hard, working my boxing back in Rio.

Eddie Wineland: My training for this fight is no different than any other fight. We're working the grappling and pushing a bit harder since it's 25 minutes. I think I'm stronger, faster, I hit harder and I'm the better wrestler. We'll find out in June.

Alexis Davis: I can't comment on the physical changes to the body during that process but I train with guys every day and if she moved up the rankings, I'd fight Fallon Fox.

Alexis Davis: I feel I'll have the hometown advantage. I think it's a fan's sport and they'll be cheering to watch the fight regardless of who's fighting. It's a huge honor to be fighting in Canada again because I haven't fought here in years and it's an honor to be making my UFC debut here.

Eddie Wineland: I'm not looking past Renan, but if I got past him, I don't want to lay sidelined. It depends on Dominick Cruz and his doctors.

Eddie Wineland: It's not added pressure. I feel like every fight I'm in I could go 25 minutes.

Renan Barao: I expect everyone to come in, especially the Brazilian community in Winnipeg will be cheering me on.

Renan Barao: The training is very hard. It starts very early every day in different sections, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, boxing. I train away from my hometown, away from the family for 2-3 months. I'm always training.

Eddie Wineland: I don't think I'll have any problems pulling the trigger. If you watch the Jorgensen fight and the Pickett fight, I didn't have any problems letting my hands go. I'm going to try to be a bully in there.

That's a wrap folks
