The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office on Friday released the frantic 911 call made by one of the victims in Wednesday’s double shooting near Longwood.

“I need help! I need help,” said the victim, Summer Rene Wiggs, 34. “My head’s bleeding.”

She was crying and breathing heavily.

“I’m in a car,” she said. “I was shot at in my car. I’m afraid to take my hand of the back of my head.”

Deputies were called around 11 p.m. Wednesday to Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Neptune Street for a shooting. They found a car had been driven to a ditch.

Family members drove the victims, Wiggs and Larry Eugene Watkins, 28, to the hospital. They are expected to be OK.

No one has been arrested, but deputies do have suspects and believe the suspects and victims knew each other.
