Peter Gibson Joins Northern Arizona Orthopaedics

Northern Arizona Orthopaedics recently announced the addition of Peter Gibson, M.D., a fellowship-trained surgeon to their team of physicians. He is one of three new team members.

With expertise in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery, Gibson treats disorders and injuries associated with muscle, joint, bone nerve tendon and soft tissue. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and completed his residency at Newark, New Jersey-based Rutgers University.

He then underwent fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery, with advanced training in microvascular from The Hand Center of San Antonio in Texas.

Carl DeRosa, Ph.D., chief executive officer of Northern Arizona Orthopaedics said about Gibson, “Dr. Peter Gibson brings his vivacious, yet caring and compassionate personality to every aspect of care for his patient.”

Gibson told OTW, “I am committed to changing and improving the lives of patients by providing exceptional orthopedic care in Flagstaff, Sedona and throughout northern Arizona. I strive to treat my patients with the upmost respect and compassion using innovative, evidence based and cost-effective treatments.”

Northern Arizona Orthopaedics physicians specialize in all subspecialties of bone, joint and spine care. They serve patients in Falstaff, Sedona and Prescott Valley clinics in northern Arizona.
