The Tides Club on State Road A1A will play host to the AIAA's Cape Canaveral Fall Dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Friday. Hansen is expected to speak from 7 to 8 p.m. for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, which will be marked in July.

Prices range from $28 to $45 depending on status and memberships. Registration information can be found at https://cctsonline.org/?page_id=2112 or by calling Matthew Zuk at 321-693-7483.

Hansen, who consulted with Universal Pictures and film actors Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy, spent dozens of hours interviewing Neil Armstrong for his book, which was released in 2005.

The Tides Club is located on the eastern side of State Road A1A across from the base at 1001 North Highway, A1A S Atlantic Ave, Patrick AFB.
