Molly Tuttle Band to Bring Bluegrass to CHIRP in Ridgefield

Tuttle was named 'Guitar Player of the Year' by the International Bluegrass Association in 2017.

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (CHIRP) is welcoming The Molly Tuttle Band to Ballard Park on Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m.

Tuttle was named “Guitar Player of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Association in 2017, as well as nominee for three other IBMA awards that year. She was the 2016 IBMA Momentum Award winner, won first place in the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Competition at Merlefest, and has appeared on A Prairie Home Companion and at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the East Ridge Middle School.

CHIRP is a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night summer concerts in Ballard Park located in the heart of Ridgefield. It also sponsors the U.S. Military Band concerts held several times a year at the H.S. auditorium. CHIRP is totally funded by individual and foundation donations as well as contributions from local businesses.
