Joan Jean (DeVault) Kelley

Verona - Joan Jean (DeVault) Kelley, 80, widow of Terry Lee Kelley, Sr. of Westgate Road, Verona, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Grafton, West Virginia on February 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Brice Lyall and Lodema Nell "Dean" (Stevens) DeVault.

Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Verona Fraternal Order of the Moose Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed catering meals, arts and crafts and playing Bingo.

In addition to her husband of 52 years and her parents, Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by a brother, Brice "Sonny" DeVault and a sister, Diana Knight.

Surviving is a son, Terry Lee Kelley, Jr. and his wife Denise of Lynchburg; two daughters, Tammy Jo Weeks and her husband Bill of Staunton and Teresa Jean Kelley of Waynesboro; a brother, Steven DeVault and his wife Janice of Grafton, West Virginia; a sister-in-law, Chris DeVault of Inwood, West Virginia; six grandchildren, Meganne Manson and her husband Ty, J. Scott Cline, Kelley Brooks and her husband Bucky, Lee Kelley and his wife Lauren, and Thomas Kelley; six great-grandchildren, Luke Manson, Aaron Brooks, Abigail Manson, Alyson Brooks, Quinn Kelley and Eden Kelley.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by her grandson, Thomas Kelley.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Kelley, Jr., J. Scott Cline, Bill Weeks, Joshua DeVault, Justin DeVault and Bucky Brooks.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah Foundation, P.O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
