Looking Ahead At The Offensive Husky Recruiting Targets For 2019

A Look At 2019 Offensive Husky Targets

NCAA Football: Washington State at Washington Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

In 2019 the west coast is loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball and the Huskies have offered, and are recruiting players who are highly coveted and ranked as highly regarded prospects. Here is a look at some of the targets the staff is after:

At quarterback the Huskies already have a commitment from 4 star Dylan Morris out of Graham Kapowsin, HS WA. He had offers from Notre Dame and Oregon before choosing to commit to UW. He is a good prospect who can fling the rock.

Cameron Davis a 4 star tailback out of Upland HS, CA committed to UW over offers from Utah and California. He was a good pickup and is considered one of the best tailbacks in the west. The Huskies are also after 4 star tailbacks Sean Dollars out of Mater Dei HS, CA along with Austin Jones from Bishop O'Dowd HS, CA. Both are top 100 players who have offers from most of the Pac 12 and programs around the country. In addition to Davis the Huskies will take 1 more running back in the class. Below is Cameron's game highlights:

At tight end the Husky staff has offered 4 star Jude Wolfe from St John Bosco HS, CA and Isaiah Foskey out of De La Salle HS, CA. Both are highly coveted players with offers from most of the Pac 12. Right now the Huskies would take either of these prospects and be done with TE recruiting. Below is Wolfe's junior highlights:

At wideout the Huskies are considers the leader for Joe Ngata out of Folsom HS, CA who is considered a top 50 player and brother of current Husky Ariel Ngata. He is extremely high on the Huskies and has offers from UW, Clemson, USC, and Alabama as well. He is a top 50 player nationally as well. The other priority targets are Josh Delgado out of IMG HS, FL (played last year for St John Bosco HS, CA) and Kyle Ford out of Orange HS, CA both are 4 star players and have offers from around the country. It sounds like the Huskies will take 2 wideouts in the 2019 class. Below is Ngata's junior highlight film.

On the offensive line Scott Huff has been extending offers in Hawaii to Julius Buelow a 4 star tackle out of Kapolei HS, HI and Enokk Vihami from Kahuku HS, HI who is the top tackle in the west. Hawaii is loaded with top level talent in the 2019 class and the Huskies are trying to land both 4 star players. Huff has also been recruiting several players for a while including 4 star tackle Sean Rhyan out of San Juan Hills, CA who has offers from around the country, 4 star tackle Jonah Tauanu'u out of Narbonne HS, CA and 3 star tackle Barrett Miller out of Eaglecrest HS, CO. The Huskies already have 3 star tackle Nathan Kalepo out of Rainier Beach HS, WA. He is a top tackle prospect in the west who selected UW over Oregon. It looks like the Huskies will take 3-4 players along the offensive line with an emphasis on the tackle position. Below is some film of Enokk and Sean.

A lot of these prospects will make their way onto campus this spring and summer to check out what Coach Pete and UW are all about (this spring prospects can start officially visiting schools on an "official visit" which should speed up their decisions to sign in December).

This is not a list of all the offers out there but more of a list of guys who the Huskies have a good shot at landing. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp. I will break down the defensive prospects next week.
