MEADVILLE — Services for Sherrill Corban, 52, of Sixtown community, who died Saturday, March 25, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Siloam Baptist Church, Sixtown community, in Meadville, with the Rev. Leon Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Corban was born Jan. 20, 1965, in Meadville, the son of Frank Marvin Corban and Beverly Ann Jordan Corban.
He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, riding ATVs and spending time at the river. He made many friends during his career as a nurse. He had the reputation of being very compassionate and caring for all his patients. He was a loving husband and father who dedicated his life to caring for his family.
Mr. Corban was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Cara Smith Corban; one son, Michael Lynn Corban of Sixtown; his father of Sixtown; one brother, Steve Corban and wife, Erin, of Smithdale; three nieces, Caleigh Corban, Madilyn Rollinson and Joy Rollinson; and a number of family and friends.
The family requests memorial donations be sent to Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 8031 Highway 98 East, Meadville, MS 39653.
