For years, Khloe Kardashian has been plagued with speculation that Robert Kardashian isn't her real father - instead it's been sensationally claimed that her dad is actually former client and Kardashian family friend OJ Simpson.
So it was little suprise on Thursday, as the former NFL star was granted parole after serving nine years behind bars for an armed robbery, the trolls came out in force.
Under Khloe's most recent Instagram pictures, the reality star was inundated with comments about her 'dad' being released from prison.
One joked: "Are you excited to see your dad? I know I would be after 9 years! Congrats!"
While a second shared: "Your father is out of jail I'm so happy for you."
Another said: "Daddy coming home Khloe."
Last year, Khloe herself managed to poke fun at the endless rumours.
The reality TV star had posted a snap of herself with the dog Snapchat filter on Instagram. Underneath the shot, someone then wrote: "I don't know why but you look white in this picture."
That prompted Khloe to fire back with this witty response: "I don't know... Some days I'm OJs daughter. Others I'm Robert's daughter."
Questions over Khloe's paternity intensified when Jan Ashley and Ellen Kardashian - who were married to to the lawyer after he and Kris split up - claimed Robert wasn't her biological father.
"The audacity you have to mention my father's name like this!" Khloe responded at the time. "Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low... YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)."
Meanwhile, Twitter erupted after the verdict was announced on Thursday.
Ava DuVernay tweeted a gif of a baffled man as soon as the Nevada board granted Simpson with the parole.
Many referenced the famous murder trial of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, in which Simpson was acquitted to much controversy.
"OJ Simpson has been granted parole. He can now go back to searching for the real killers of his ex-wife."
W. Kamau Bell wrote, "OK then... Black folks get ready for random white folks to start conversations w/ you like 'CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS OJ THING?'"
"Why are so many people upset that OJ Simpson was granted parole? ALMOST beheading someone isn't the same as actually beheading them," tweeted comedian Jim Norton.
Actress Jackee Harry spoke out noting the verdict of George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin in 2013. "Some of you are HEATED that OJ has been granted parole, but seem to have accepted that George Zimmerman is a free man."
