‘The Boston Globe’ Has Offered Up Their Vision Of What A Trump Presidency Would Look Like

Can you picture a Donald Trump presidency? Supporters and opponents of the controversial White House contender have their visions of what that might entail and now The Boston Globe has laid out their vision of what might come if Trump nabs the position of Commander-In-Chief.

Globe readers were presented with a mock front page for its April 9, 2017 edition and it presents an incredibly depressing portrait of what’s to come. “DEPORTATIONS TO BEGIN” shouts the headline with stories of riots, economic calamity and soldiers facing orders to kill ISIS family members located below. Tucked into the bleakness are sillier developments like Kid Rock scoring an ambassador position, Yellowstone changing its “loser name” and a Penthouse-indebted romance novel from President Trump.

Not that you couldn’t sort it out from the content of the faux front page, but the Globe also laid out their strong opposition to the prospect of a Trump administration in a scathing editorial.

“The toxic mix of violent intimidation, hostility to criticism, and explicit scapegoating of minorities shows a political movement is taking hold in America. If Trump were a politician running such a campaign in a foreign country right now, the US State Department would probably be condemning him,” proclaimed the outlet in their cal for the GOP to dump Trump.

No punches are pulled in the Globe‘s critique of the 69-year-old business mogul and it’s not hard to imagine that Donald Trump will be equally forward in his response should one arise.
