DuPage Basket Brigade 2017 delivers 345 baskets, 273 homeless bags for Thanksgiving

The coordinators of the DuPage Basket Brigade thanks everyone for their support for the 2017 DBB campaign.

Because of personal and company monetary donations, 55 public drop-off locations, 8 personal and company food drives, company donations of gift cards and foods and 150-plus volunteers, they were able to reach about 1,825 people assembling and delivering 345 family baskets and 273 homeless bags for this Thanksgiving.

They will be planning for 2018 soon and increasing our goal again. They are looking for coordinators to commit and handle various aspects such as: marketing, solicitations, community needs, drop-off locations, assembly day and delivery days. Contact David Segatti via email at dupagebasketbrigade@hotmail.com .

Lastly, a special thank you to Julie Segatti, Micayla Segatti, Juliana Triana, Susan Segatti and Mike Fleck.

They played integral parts in the success of this year's program. Without their commitment and dedication, we wouldn't have come close to reaching as many people as we did. Thank you.
