The analysis of HFT algorithms trading activity in the currency market on the opening day of the first full trading week of the year shows that the EURUSD currency pair may be the place to look for selling opportunities today.

Namely, EURUSD is approaching the light HFT selling pressure zone at the moment, which is noted for today at 1.1183 and above. Stronger selling forcers in this area will likely appear and stop further advanced of the price. Thus, EURUSD bears will also be looking for potential trades from the short side on the formation of bearish patterns.

The light HFT buying pressure zone - that is noted at 1.1129 and below - is the area where the price may be pulled toward in the downside direction.
