HuffingtonAMERICASMART’S SUMMER programming will feature taste-makers, business visionaries and innovators across its newly timed seven-day run for The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market, July 10-16, and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market, July 11–15.

Expanded AmericasMart LIVE programming will deliver new experiences and celebrated talent including Trisha Yearwood, Bethenny Frankel, India Hicks, Nathan Turner and more.

AmericasMart LIVE also becomes the new venue for ICON Honors 2018, the market’s celebration of the gift and home industry. On the evening of July 12, Arianna Huffington, founder of The Huffington Post and founder and CEO of Thrive Global, will deliver an industry-exclusive keynote address at the ICON Honors in the Building 3 Atrium. For the first time ever, ICON Honors will be open and accessible to all July Market attendees by virtue of its new staging and will be showcased and broadcast as the centerpiece of AmericasMart LIVE.

Huffington’s presentation will imprint a new mark of contemporary cultural thought leadership upon ICON Honors, which from its founding has championed the role of independent business in the global economy, according to Jeffrey L. Portman Sr., chairman, president and CEO of AmericasMart.

A new curated shopping experience called “Shop the Show.” Retailers, designers and home décor lovers will experience a fresh twist on market, through the eyes of leading lifestyle influencers. Popups of favorite products, original content, fun videos and special events will be shared on social media with the hashtag #ShoptheShowATL.

New buying experiences in the temporary collections, which run on a new Wednesday to Sunday schedule. A consolidated home décor temporary collection in Building 1 has DÉCOR | Light & Lifestyles joining the Home Accents & Home Furnishings and Fine Linens and Home Textiles collections on Building 1, Floor 7 while a reimagined Emerging Artists Collection and a new Body and Soul LUXE collection highlight Building 3.

The debut of The Museum Collective, a new curated merchandise collection produced under a new strategic Museum Store Association/AmericasMart partnership. Designed to serve the refined merchandising requirements of museum stores, zoos, aquariums, catalogs, online sellers and other specialty retailers, it will present quality gifts, décor, collectibles and private label products.
