"For the avid hunter and outdoor sportsman, Comanche Crest Ranch is home to trophy deer, turkey, quail and hogs," the real estate brokers said in their marketing package. "Nestled amongst the gently rolling rangeland broken by streams and draws of Texas' Rolling Plains, Comanche Crest Ranch is where hunting and ranching meet."

Unlike other big ranch properties that have recently been for sale in the state, Comanche Crest doesn't have a large house or other residences.

Dallas' Icon Global Group sold the ranch with a list price of $13.5 million in a deal brokered with Hortenstine Ranch Co.

The buyer was an undisclosed Texas investor, according to Icon Global's Bernard Uechtritz.

"We have had a very strong first quarter with sales and also new listings in the pipeline," Uechtritz said.
