Shirley and I worked together in the nurse's office at Glenbard North and although I haven't corresponded with her, CB would keep me posted on how she was doing. I am sure it is not an easy time for family, but I pray the path through your sadness will be healed through the quiet passage of time and the love of family and friends. Shirley will always be remembered as a gentle and giving soul. So sorry for your loss. I wish you peace, courage and strength as you face one day at a time.

Heaven has gained a real angel. Shirley was such a great lady. Always positive through this horrible illness and all she's had to go through in the past several years. She and Chuck did everything together. I miss being able to talk to her & go out to dinner with them. We always had a good time. She is at rest now. I am thankful for this but I miss her.

It was unbelievable to hear about Shirley's passing. She was my classmate (and Class President) at St. E class of 1963. I have wondered about her many times over the years. She was a sweet, kind and compassionate woman. God Rest her soul. My sincerest sympathies to her grieving family.
