Family of Omarosa’s late fiancé Michael Clarke Duncan says she ‘manipulated’ him in his final days

In her book ‘Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,’ former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman includes a chapter on the 2012 passing of her then-fiancé, actor Michael Clarke Duncan.

Its inclusion has brought renewed attention to the troubles she and Duncan’s family had with one another in the days before and after his death.

Notably, his friends and relatives are again speaking out and offering their accounts of what transpired during the tragic time.

In an interview with the Daily Beast, various people close to Duncan paint Omarosa as a manipulator who took extraordinary efforts to keep family members and close friends away from the actor while taking advantage of his fragile state to have his will re-written in her favor.

A niece of Duncan’s also suggests that Omarosa lied about the two of them being engaged.

Duncan passed away in September 2012 at the age of 54, notes the Independent.

He died in a Los Angeles hospital, where he was being treated after suffering a heart attack.

Omarosa is now married to Pastor John Allen Newman. The two were wed in April of 2017 at the Trump International Hotel.
