JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Our region’s rich history in the coal industry is coming to life in Carbon County Thursday night.
A special screening of the “Molly McGuires” movie is being shown at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe.
The movie stars Sean Connery and was filmed in Eckley Miners Village 50 years ago. This is the first time the movie is being shown in Jim Thorpe.
The movie is set to start at 7:30pm. Tickets are still available for $20.
