Package deal, one of the top softball clinics in the country made a stop in the Tri Cities this afternoon at the Upper Deck sports facility in Piney Flats.
Former softball players that have been there and done that at colleges such as UCLA, Florida and Texas A&M to name a few taught girls in our area the fundamentals of hitting, catching, pitching, defense and agility.
They hope girls walk away knowing what it takes to compete, set goals and thrive.
“This clinic as you can see is extremely high level it’s fast it’s action packed but we hold them to a standard we are not going allow them to sit sloppy or have bad posture our 4 big keys are eye contact hustle give us all you have and be present so more than just the physical it’s really life skills that encompass what it means to be a competitive athlete, competitive person and to thrive in the real world.”
“We’re giving kids in our area a chance to get that type of exposure from girls that’s been at stage and played at the world series, so a lot of experience in this group of girls so it’s really cool to be able to bring that to this area.”
