Sarah Katherine Moore and Arthur Lincoln Howson III were united in marriage on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at half past six o'clock in the evening at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, N.C. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Bob Henderson. A reception hosted by the bride's parents followed at Charlotte Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Carton Mitchener and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lenoir Moore III of Charlotte. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Olivene Simpson Robbins and the late Mr. Kenneth Craig Robbins of Hickory, N.C., the late Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lenoir Moore Jr. and the late Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carrington Carpenter of Lenoir, N.C. Katie graduated from Charlotte Latin School and the College of Charleston. She is an associate creative director at Wray Ward. The groom is the son of Mrs. Anne Curlee Howson and the late Mr. Arthur Lincoln Howson Jr. of Greenville, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lincoln Howson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Neal Walker Curlee of Charlotte. Art graduated from Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law. He is an associate attorney with Wielechowski and Fuller, PC. The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents. The matron of honor was Elizabeth Doughton Hodges of Richmond, Va. Attending bridesmaids were Mary Kirk Goeldner Baier of Philadelphia; Sarah Howson DesChamps of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; Walker Howson Doermann, Stephanie Player Dillon, Anne Stuart Mitchener, Whitney Christine Player and Dana Chandler Williams of Charlotte; Noel Wilcox Finn of New York; Courtney Mullinax Flowers of Atlanta; Roland Mitchener Simmons of Greenville; Merriweather Raidle Mulé

and Kelly McDonald Zeigler of Charleston, S.C. The best man was Todd Huntington Gower of New York. Junior bridesmaids were Katherine McAllister Walker and Elizabeth Moore Walker of Dallas, Texas. Kathleen Walker DesChamps was the flower girl. Thomas Evans Doermann and William Rhett DesChamps were ring bearers. Scripture readers were Madeline Preble Moore of Nashville, Tenn., Kathryn Ohl Moore of Charlotte and Michael Grady Simmons of Greenville. On Friday evening, the groom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Foundation For The Carolinas. Family and friends hosted a welcome party on Friday evening at Rí Rá. Following a honeymoon in France, Mr. and Mrs. Howson live in Charlotte.
