Rally for Riley is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hamburg Field House along Pine Street in the borough.

There will be games, vendors, crafts and other family-friendly events to benefit Riley Rejniak, 6, Leesport, who suffers from neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that develops in early, or immature, nerve cells often before birth.

Tastefully Berks, a celebration of food from across Berks County, is Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Exeter Senior High School cafeteria.

The event is a fundraiser of Exeter Football Parents Club.

Participating restaurants include: Andy Pepper’s, Applebee’s, Bixler’s Lodge, Boscov’s Ala Carte Catering, Cafe Sweet Street, Chick-fil-A, China Penn, Clover Farms, Dunkin’ Donuts, Esposito’s, Francesca’s Pizza & Restaurant, Jake’s of Mount Penn, Klinger’s on Carsonia, Liberty Ale House & Liberty Tap Room, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Red Robin & Red Robin Catering, Subway, Sweet Surprises and Sweet Ride Ice Cream.

Pre-sale tickets are being sold by all Exeter football players for $10 for children under age 10 and $20 for those older.

At the door, it’s $10 and $25, respectively.

The Junior League of Reading is holding its annual Fall Fest banquet and fundraiser Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. in Kraras Hall at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd.

The cost is $75 per person and only those 21 and older can attend.

The Junior League of Reading hopes to continue to expand its youth empowerment focus and broaden community impact.

The program Planning for College is Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Southeast Branch of Reading Public Library, 1426 Perkiomen Ave.

The presentation will focus on admissions and financial aid.

Featured speakers are Hillary Schulze, Alvernia University enrollment coordinator, and Danny Cieniewicz, financial adviser.

Berks alumnae of Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania will present Dogs and More on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Phoebe Berks Auditorium near Wernersville.

The theme is “Therapy, Service, Adoption.” All are welcome to attend and meet the alumnae and the canines at the event.
