Nevin N. Zimmerman, 58, of Newmanstown, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, September 11, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Weaver Zimmerman. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Lloyd M. and E. Pauline Nolt Zimmerman. A farmer and mason, he was a member of the Millbach Mennonite Church of Weaverland Conference.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are five sons, Nathan W. husband of Sandra Martin Zimmerman of Reinholds; Philip W. husband of Brenda Brubaker Zimmerman of Denver; Kenneth W. husband of Malinda Zimmerman Zimmerman of Newmanstown; Matthew W. husband of Gina Wise Zimmerman of Reinholds; Richard W. husband of Amanda Zimmerman Zimmerman of Newmanstown; three daughters, Delphine W. wife of Wilmer Weaver of Twining, MI; Marianne W. wife of Matthew Martin of Schuylkill Haven; Sharon W. wife of Marlin R. Brubaker, Jr. of Myerstown; 35 grandchildren; step-mother, Irene L. High Zimmerman of East Earl; four brothers, James N. husband of Lois Zimmerman of Ephrata; Jay L. husband of Carla Zimmerman of East Earl; Robert N. husband of Joanne Zimmerman of Terre Hill, Linford N. husband of Cindy Zimmerman of Ephrata; two sisters, Susan L. wife of Glenn Hurst of Myerstown; Phyllis J. wife of Clifford Zimmerman of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harlan N. Zimmerman.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 9:30 AM in the Millbach Mennonite Church, 3 N. Millbach Road, Newmanstown, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing on Wednesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
