An advertisement says he gets government insurance, and he doesn’t have to worry about pre-existing conditions.

"First of all we get insurance through my wife, Hawley said. “Secondly it matters to me because I’ve got a kid with a pre-existing condition and I said over and over that I will protect people with pre existing conditions. I’m in favor of forcing insurance companies to do so.”

Political commentator George Will was at the rally.

Will says usually at midterm elections we see a dip in voter turnout but he thinks this year three will be outcomes as seen during a preseidental election year.

“An awful lot of elections in this age can turn on a few votes, so whether you’re left right or center go out and measure it because this is an unusual year in which the country is closely divided,” Will said. “Obviously this country is in a fowl mood so go out and vent your anger at the ballot box.”
