Demands on Jonathan Glynn are too high, he must make choice, says David Collins

David Collins, the former Galway captain, has claimed that Jonathan Glynn will soon have to make a key lifestyle choice.

Glynn, the Galway full forward, works as a project manager for a construction firm in New York and has maintained that role despite featuring in the 2017 and 2018 Championships for Galway, playing a key role in last year’s All-Ireland victory.

Micheál Donoghue, the Galway manager, said at the launch of this year’s Championship in April that this arrangement was “probably not an ideal situation” and that Glynn would remain in Ireland throughout this summer.
