A 20 year old man was arrested and charged for terroristic threatening and assault in Kipnuk on Tuesday.

Alaska State Troopers said in a report that Anthony Kashatok made threats in the school prompting a lock down of the building.

According to AST, Kashatok allegedly made claims he wanted to kill everyone in the school and approached a teacher in a manner which made her believe he was going to hurt her.

"Anthony stopped when another teacher got in his way," AST said in the daily dispatch log.

As Kashatok was being escorted out of the school, troopers said he stated he needed to get a gun.

Kashatok was taken to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.
