Rain, some of it heavy at times, washed out the entire Lake County high school sports schedule on Friday, including first-round tournament play at Ukiah (softball) and at Fort Bragg (baseball). Those tournaments continue Saturday, weather and field conditions permitting. Clear Lake has teams entered at both locations. In other action scheduled for Saturday, Middletown hosts American Canyon at 3 p.m. and Kelseyville hosts Justin-Siena at 1 p.m. in softball action. In varsity baseball action, Kelseyville is home to play Arcata in a doubleheader. First pitch is noon. Lower Lake pitcher Shelby Sapeta (pictured above) returns to action along with her Trojans teammates on Tuesday at home against El Molino at 4 p.m.
