Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are, undeniably, one of the most talked-about couples today. For starters, they got engaged at a dinner that was, supposedly, Barack’s victory celebration for passing his bar exam in 1991. A year later, Barack and Michelle tied the knot in a simple ceremony.

The power couple spent eight years in the White House. Aside from their responsibilities being the most powerful pair in the United States at the time, Barack and Michelle have faced a myriad of challenges and controversies as well. All these problems caused stress to the couple but, obviously, neither of them gave up.

Michelle Obama opened up about her struggles when her husband was still the President of America and shared how she was able to survive all the trials that came her way. “If I'm ever feeling tense or stressed or like I'm about to have a meltdown, I'll put on my iPod and head to the gym or out on a bike ride along Lake Michigan with the girls,” she told Marie Claire in 2008.

The mom of two was, also, asked about how she feels being picked on and a favorite target of the press. “One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals,” Michelle said. “And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don't invest any energy in them, because I know who I am,” she added.

Recently, Michelle Obama sparked another controversy after her supporters were, reportedly, "left fuming" at the shocking ticket prices of a Qualtrics’ event next year. It was learned that the American lawyer is coming to Utah as she will be headlining the tech company’s annual user conference with Ellen DeGeneres in March.

Daily Express shared, initially, many supporters in the Beehive State were pleased about Michelle, Ellen and New York Times bestseller Brene Brown gracing the said event. However, they were, reportedly, disappointed after learning that that tickets to the conference cost between $1,250 and $1,900. Neither of the esteemed guests has commented on these claims as of yet.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama has been invited to numerous speaking engagements since the end of Barack Obama’s tenure as president. There are even reports saying she would be a presidential candidate in the 2020 elections.
